Virtualbox Win7 32 Bit

Win7

  1. 32-bit Vs 64-bit
  2. 32-bit Ram
As a new user of VirtualBox, I'm trying to create a virtual machine, Windows 7 Professional (32-bit), on my Win7 Pro (64-bit) Lenovo T530 Thinkpad. I set up the new guest with all the suggested/default settings (32MB RAM, 32GB virtual hard drive, type VDI, dynamically allocated, acceleration disabled, etc.), and, with my Lenovo recovery disk in the optical drive, press Start.

Launch VirtualBox, and create a new virtual machine you will find the option for you to pick the versions are expended and 64-bit operating systems should be listed. There you go, if you only see 32-bit OS available that means something is wrong, and you are not utilizing the hardware to efficiently running those virtual machines. Officially supported operating systems include 32-bit and 64-bit versions of Windows 10, Windows Server 2012, Windows 2008 R2, Windows 2008, Windows 8, Windows 7, Windows Vista and Windows XP. What versions of Oracle VM VirtualBox are available? The current version of Oracle VM VirtualBox is 6.1.0 and is the latest version since we last checked.

The CD/DVD drive starts up, and the following sequence appears....
  1. Virtual Box logo screen
  2. 'Windows is loading files' screen with bar advancing left to right
  3. Microsoft logo screen
  4. Lenovo 'Rescue & Recovery' screen - this is the screen that come up when one reloads the operating system
